Team Project: Male and Female Leader ** See Syllabus for due date
In assigned teams, the students will research one male and one female leader.
Male and female leaders can be selected from any profession, organization, industry, public or private companies and from any country.
It is recommended that students select contemporary leaders that are of particular interest to the team members.
This is a collaborative project. Team members should collectively agree on their male and female leaders.
Each team member is responsible for a portion of the project.
Teams are accountable for doing the necessary research, dividing up the work, writing a paper and participating in the presentation.
Students are to address the following criteria in their papers and presentations. Individual backgrounds, education, business experience, etc. Leadership. Character styles and differences.
CRITERIA FOR PAPER:
5. Mission
6. Relationship with employees, shareholders, customers, business partners, community
7. Ethics, social responsibility, standards of behavior
8. Leadership lessons they have learned.
9. Recommendations they have for other leaders.
10. What is your opinion of these leaders
Each member of the team is to contribute to the paper and the presentation.
The presentations are 15-20 minutes in length, with time allotted for questions and answers.
The paper should be minimum 10 pages, typewritten, Arial 12 pt font, double spaced.
Cite reference
Include a cover sheet.
Students may use PowerPoint presentations and provide handouts to the class.
Electronic resources must come from the Shapiro Library databases.
Submit a copy of your PowerPoint presentation and paper to the instructor.
No need for report folders or binders.
