Writing Assignment using Exemplification: Think about an older person, such as a parent or another relative, who finds your behavior troubling and perplexed. Write an exemplification essay in which you illustrate why your behavior distresses this person. (or, conversely, think of an elder whose behavior you find problematic, and write and essay illustrating why that person evokes this response in you). You might structure your essay by picking the two or three most irksome characteristics or habits and developing supporting paragraphs around each of them.
