For your final essay I want you to pick your favorite piece of literature from the semester (cannot be one that has already been used in an essay) and explain why and how it is indicative of the time period from which it was written. Use no less than 3 citations and be sure to explain what you personally like about it. Was it the author? The meaning? The historical significance? Something totally different??? Be detailed and specific. Also this is the only essay question for this test so make it count!
