This is my situation that needs to be reflected on:-

When I was 11 I was in secondary school and I would say that over the next 18 months myself and my friends would be quite disruptive in class, due to lack of discipline from the teachers. The school I was in did not have a very good reputation and the discipline was second to none.

I was a follower so if my friends were misbehaving then so was I and looking back I would put this down to peer pressure.

My mother then decided to move me to another secondary school half way through the second year. I was not happy with this, as I would be leaving all my friends. The new school was a lot stricter and was lot more structured and had a much better reputation. Also I was not happy with going there, as there was rivalry between the town I lived in and the town of the school that I was going to. For nearly a year I was bullied as I was from the other town and it was a horrible experience, I made a few friends but not many as they did not want to get bullied either.

In the end I stood upto the bullies and my time in school was much more enjoyable and I made more friends and enjoyed my time. It made me a more confident individual.
