Respond to Sho – P

My social media is full of inspirational encouragement. I’ve always believed that you never know what people are going through and when they glance at your social media it could literally save the day. In fact when I’m having a bad day I can look back at things  I post for inspiration. Its displays Integrity and  the care of the P.R.I.C.E element.

Describe one element of your social media presence that could negatively affect the impression potential employers have of you (your brand). How does this element impair your goal to present yourself as a professional? I also post alot of Jokes ( funny things) on social media. I have to find humor in a lot of things in order to remain levelheaded and  aware that not everything is super serious, This could potentially throw an employer off.

Describe two tasks you can perform to strengthen and/or improve your brand using social media. Support your response with at least one external resource

  1. A) I can make sure I always continue to stay intentional with what I post , so that encouragement stays constant. Having a constant positive attitude will help with job search or interviews .Im able to view my own pages for encouragement, especially when there is a let down. I might come in contact with someone who doesn’t believe in outside encouragement.
  2. B) I  Can make sure when I post jokes they always stay appropriate trying not to offend anyone. Having a source to go back and look at things that make me laugh will always help  lighten the load of a loss in a job search  or interview. It is   possible that I could run into someone who is super serious about all things, and in turn they will be extremely offended.
