Choose a public policy in Texas to research. Public policies to consider are: Education, Healthcare, Immigration, Veterans Affairs, Water Policy, Welfare Policy Research and include the following in your paper: Explain how the policy originated. Why was the policy created? When did it originate? How has the policy changed over the years? How is the policy funded? How can the policy be improved (include specific suggestions for improvement)? The paper should be 1,000 words, double spaced and 12 point font. Cite your sources using APA or MLA form. Make sure you cite your sources within the body of the text and you include an applicable Citations Page or Works Cited. You should have a minimum of five sources. NCTC uses the App Turnitin to check for plagiarism in papers and assignments. Turnitin will recognize and report plagiarism. If you receive a report from Turnitin on your paper indicating plagiarism, you will need to re-do those sentences in question, and resubmit.
