Public Discourse Issue and formulate a specific claim about its definition.

Argument of Definition

For this assignment, you will select a single key term associated with your Public Discourse Issue and formulate a specific claim about its definition. You might propose a new definition, challenge a current definition, or provide a new definition that fills a gap in the discourse surrounding your issue. You will need to move beyond the formal, dictionary definition here, though it may prove useful to consider how the formal definition differs from the way your term gets used by communities invested in your PDI.
