Source Three “Loyola and Obedience to ‘Our Holy Mother, the Hierarchical Church,’” page 318.
After reading each source, answer the questions on the page that are included with each source.

Your overall answer should be 2-3 paragraphs in length.
Source Two: How did the positions of Zwingli and Luther on the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper differ? What was the purpose of this debate? Based on this example, why do you think Reformation debates led to further hostility rather than compromise and unity between religious and sectarian opponents? What implication did this have for the future of the Reformation?
Your overall answer should be roughly 4 paragraphs in length.
Source Three: What are the fundamental assumptions that inform Loyola’s rules for “thinking with the church”? What do these assumptions tell you about the nature of the Catholic reform movement?
