CITIZENSHIP
The rights and responsibilities associated with social, political and economic communities that an individual demonstrates as an engaged and knowledgeable member of society.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS STUDENTS ACHIEVE IN THE AREA OF CITIZENSHIP:
Baccalaureate Degree: Advanced Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrates historical literacy in the study of one or more historical periods
Demonstrates global literacy in the focused study of one or more global issues or regions
Integrates civic, historical and global literacy into community-involvement activities and projects
COMMUNICATION
The ability to effectively send and receive messages.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS STUDENTS ACHIEVE IN THE AREA OF COMMUNICATION:

Uses writing, peer review and revision as a tool to develop capacity for communication within a specific discipline
Writes with a significant degree of content knowledge, sophistication in use of language, and independence in approaching the assignments
Uses speaking to enhance subject area learning through active engagement in oral communication in a variety of contexts
CREATIVITY: The process of innovation, generating original ideas or making new connections among existing ideas.

CRITICAL THINKING
The process of reflection, reasoning and imagining through which the individual willingly, systematically and habitually examines and explores statements, problems, issues, beliefs and social constraints.

Program Outcomes: ORGL graduates will be prepared to lead teams and departments in a wide array of business and organizations in the private and public sector.

My learning experiences that complement, in some way, what we are learning in school—i.e., experiences that are connected to or mirror the academic curriculum.
Experience of being an operations manager in a very busy Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital setting. Examples: Leading teams, developing HRD and daily operations to name a few.
