A central product of game theory is the 2×2 game theory matrix, most notably used in the “Prisoner’s Dilemma” example. Every game utilizes a decision-making model, sometimes simple and sometimes complex, and there are outcomes attached to every individual’s move. In particular, Vesperman and Clark (2016) offer a useful explanation of how game theory matrices can be developed for educational purposes. In this assignment, you will design a 2×2 game theory matrix (see Appendix B) that is related to a specific instructional or training scenario and respond to the following questions, first posed by Vesperman and Clark (2016): Given the rules of the game and what you know about the players, what will the logical outcome of the game be? Will there be a favored winner (keeping in mind that games, especially those based on the real world, don’t always have to be fair)? Is there a stalemate? Can everybody win if players adopt certain strategies and behaviors? Length: 750-1000 words References: 1 scholarly source Your matrix and response should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
