Instructions:

• Over the course of this class, students will use the enclosed template to create three (3) examples of posts that could potentially be used on their social media.
• Posts must showcase examples of good sustainability practices and opportunities for better sustainability practices. (i.e. in the classroom or anywhere else on campus
• Look over these do’s and don’ts for creating posts:
  • Do NOT post pictures of strangers
  • Do post pictures of objects
  • Do post pictures in which you are also in the picture
• Posts should contain #JWUsustains.
• Include in the caption a short statement about your post.
  • If you posted an example of poor sustainability practices, your statement should be a suggestion for what could be done differently.
    • Example: Rice Fun uses styrofoam boxes for people eating in the restaurant, they could use paper boxes instead.
  • If you posted an example of good sustainability practices, your statement should be about what is the effect of their use of that practice.
    • Example: The food truck uses compostable food boxes. I doubt many people take their food box home to compost it. However, at least it will degrade in a few months rather than centuries. If more people, adopted this practice it would significantly reduce waste.
• Due Date: Day 13.
• Follow the following criteria when submitting assignment on ulearn:
  • Include a cover page with your name, the date, name of the class, name of the instructor, and assignment title.
  • Proofread and check for formatting issues, then convert the file to PDF.
