In this article, it explains about Miss Emily and how she pretty much does what she wants.  She tells the tax collectors about the past and how she is exempt from taxes, not listening to anything they have to say.  It talks about the plot and gives points about the story and what happened.  I can use this in my paper to make important points about the short story, and point out the important parts.

This article is about the relationship Miss Emily had with Homer Barron and how it was against southern values.  It also explains how the narrator is just as important as Miss Emily, using the first person, and represents the white southern society.  I can use this in my paper to show how in the south back then their values were one way but Miss Emily chose a whole different path.

This article is about the meaning of both the title and the chronology of a “Rose for Emily.”  It explains what things “could be.”  Homer could be the dried up rose, and the rose colored bedroom and the rose pressed into the pages of the book.  I can use this in my paper to explain what people actually think it really means.
